The Silent Treatment

Well, thank you for supporting this ministry, friends. I say it every Saturday but I'll say it again - I'm so grateful for your kindness!

And I hope that Paul Rees's sermon has been helpful to you. I so enjoyed reading it. I thought, I have to share this with you guys.

Of course, during our recent trip to the Karoo, we did have a good deal of silence as Shereen and I just looked at the mountains, the straights and the valleys, the animals, the birds. We went into four different national parks, believe it or not, on our little loop around to the Cape and back. It was just majestic beyond words half of the time.

Silence is a powerful thing, and it’s a good thing to use in your life to connect you with God. And of course, couples know that comfortable silence between them is a blessing, but not all the time. Silence between couples can sometimes be bad.

When Silence Becomes a Weapon

I always tell this story at the weddings I conduct, so you may have heard it before. This couple was fighting and they were giving each other the silent treatment… You can read or listen to the rest of this supporters’ devotion on my Patreon page here, for any monthly amount. Thank you for supporting!
