Exodus commands us to rest, Psalm 49 sobers us with the certainty of death, and Acts opens with Jesus promising power and pointing His disciples toward heaven - and toward His return.

Exodus turns to the practical laws of everyday holiness, Psalm 48 praises the might of our God, and Luke's Gospel closes with the risen Jesus proving Himself alive and ascending in glory.

What a week of deliverance, provision and resurrection! We watched God part the Red Sea and lead Israel through the wilderness to Sinai, journeyed through Psalms as they moved lament to praise, and walked with Jesus from His unjust trial all the way to the empty tomb and the road to Emmaus.
