Jesus the Faithful Witness
Jesus Christ is a faithful witness to the truth. If He says it’s true, it’s true! Will we believe in Him? Or will we place our faithful in the witness of less faithful ones?
God’s Care
The Psalmist tells us that God remembers us in our low estate. Do you need to hear this today? He cares for you, He loves you, He is with you. Hold to Him.
God’s Superiority
Should we, like the Psalmists, pray that God will kill the evil rulers of our time? No. We should pray for their salvation and transformation by the cross of Jesus.
God’s Saving Grace
The Jews saw the exodus as the greatest act of saving grace God could perform. But we see the cross and we know that Jesus' sacrifice there once for all bought our salvation.
God’s Creative Power
God has made a beautiful world by His creative power! Are we helping to preserve it, or are we destroying it?
God’s Generosity
God is generous in so many ways. Are we thankful for His generosity? Or are we just paying lip service to God?
WHOLLY Hopeful
Where can we find hope? In worldly amusement? Or in the cross of Jesus Christ? Only Christianity transforms pain and hurt in a way that always gives us hope.
WHOLLY Intimate
Seeking intimacy in cold, uncommitted relationships, or images on a screen? There is a better way. Jesus heals and brings us the intimacy we need.
WHOLLY Innocent
Should we try escape our past? Our try find healing from it? Author Steve DeNeff reminds us that the cross of Jesus offers cleansing of our sinful pasts.
WHOLLY Secure
Feeling afraid? Feeling insecure? The cross of Jesus is the answer. Steve DeNeff shows us how God replaces our fears with faith.
WHOLLY Significant
We were born to matter! Steve Deneff's book More Than Forgiveness shows us how our need for significance has been distorted by sin, but is healed at the cross of Jesus.
The End of This Life… and the Next
Will your soul still be singing when you breathe your last? If so, the song will continue in a new world forever.
1000000000000 reasons
We may have a few reasons to complain about things, but we have countless reasons to praise. Which ones are you seeking? Seek reasons to worship - they are everywhere.
For All Your Goodness
God's goodness abounds! He is rich in love and slow to anger, great but kind. How can keep from singing when He is so wonderful?
Singing Morning to Night
Let's be singing as the sun comes up, and when the evening comes, as Matt Redman's '10,000 Reasons' declares. This is the life of a worshipper!
Oh My Soul!
Matt Redman's famous song 10,000 Reasons reminds us that worship is not primarily something we do with our lips. It's from the heart.
I Am Disciplined
The speaker has incorporated a daily practice of reciting "I Am" statements to reinforce discipline and prioritize actions aligned with their principles and faith over fleeting impulses. These statements help them stay on track, remain faithful, and live a purposeful life. They emphasize the importance of self-discipline in achieving one's potential and not succumbing to momentary desires. The practice is inspired by the book "The Disciplined Life" by Richard Taylor and aims to encourage others to adopt a similar approach to stay grounded in their beliefs and values.
I Am… Fill in the Blank
The speaker is encouraging individuals to create their own "I Am" statements as a daily practice. These statements reflect personal roles and responsibilities, both within their families and in their work or daily lives. The idea is to identify and affirm these roles as part of one's Christian life, acknowledging that they are called by God to fulfill specific roles and responsibilities. By reciting these statements daily, individuals can stay focused on their purpose and how they can positively impact others in their family, workplace, or community. This practice is seen as a powerful way to align oneself with God's calling and maintain a sense of direction and purpose in daily life.
I Am a Lover and Worshipper of God
The third "I am" statement is "I am a Lover and Worshipper of God." It emphasizes the importance of delighting in God's love and worshiping Him passionately every day. The focus is on prioritizing God's glory in all actions and maintaining a close, worshipful relationship with Him amidst life's distractions and duties.
