Paying No Attention to God
Manasseh and his people heard God speak but paid no attention, ignoring the Word of the Lord. Let’s not make the same mistake!
Following the Culture
Are we letting the culture’s ways define our lives, rather than God’s ways? Manasseh did exactly that.
Supporters’ Extra: My Best Test
Sometimes our greatest growth comes not from easy victories but from the tests where we barely scrape through. Embrace today's struggle as an opportunity for character development, trusting that God uses even your hardest tests to shape you.
The Problem
Shallow faith that never takes deep root will fail when tests come, but a faith built on daily commitment to God will climb higher through life's difficulties. Go deeper in your faith today and commit to your God, come what may.
The Promise
God tests His people not to trip them up but to give them opportunities to prove their growth in faith. Face your current test today with confidence, knowing God uses these moments to develop Christlike character in you.
In Conduct
Paul urged Timothy to set an example in conduct. Is Christ evident in the way you conduct yourself?
Words That Mean Nothing
Even demons acknowledged Jesus as the Holy One of God, but their words meant nothing without genuine faith and worship. True saving faith leads to a transformed life, not merely correct beliefs.
Words that Teach
Jesus' words carried authority that amazed those who heard Him teach in Capernaum. Are you still learning from His teaching today, and more importantly, are you putting it into practice?
Jesus’ Joy
Many picture Jesus as sorrowful or stern, but Scripture reveals Him as a man of immense joy through the Holy Spirit. Today, remember that following Jesus means sharing in His joy and allowing that joy to transform your life.
A Lost Trait
In our distracted world, the ability to pay attention to what truly matters has become increasingly rare. Begin today by asking God to make you more attentive to the needs around you, following Abraham's example of godly awareness.
Commit Your Ways to Him
David implores us to commit to God. Are we fully committed, or half-committed?
Dwell in the Land
Fight or flight can apply in our spiritual lives. Sometimes God says “go”, but sometimes He says “stay.
God’s Desire
God desired that Abram become Abraham, and Sarai become Sarah. He wants you to be made new too – but you have to play your part.
Don’t Run After These Things
The pagan world runs after material things, but Jesus calls us to seek God's kingdom first and trust that our needs will be provided. Pursue joy in God rather than chasing possessions and comfort.
Your Personal Story
Sometimes the best way to share your faith is simply to tell your own story.
Abram Gives Like Jesus
Abram's generous giving in grace, tithes, and allegiance points us to Jesus, the ultimate giver who rescues us and calls us to follow His example of sacrificial generosity.
Prayer is Expected
Christians, by definition, are people of prayer. How’s your prayer life going? I hope this week’s devos will reignite your passion for prayer.
