Pharisees see Christianity primarily as a moral code. It’s so much more!

No so-called “holy men” can bring us to true holiness. Only one person holds the key to a holy and whole life – Jesus Christ.

God calls us to not just enjoy His forgiveness, but to accept His empowering and turn from our sin. Can we do this?

The prophet Zephaniah calls down woe on Jerusalem for their disobedience. Would he have the same message for us? Or would he have the same message Paul had for the Romans?

When we see the godless around us prospering, it’s easy to envy them. But let’s remember their ultimate fate apart from God, and remember our ultimate joy with Him.

When God calls us to do something, let’s not put it off to tomorrow. Do it today!

Can we reclaim our childlike innocence? Through Jesus, we can!

People have a habit of delaying their day of salvation. They think “I’ll do it tomorrow” and then tomorrow never comes! But Paul says that TODAY is the day of salvation. Will you accept His offer today? .

What is the salvation God offers us? It is salvation from sin’s punishment, sin’s power, and one day sin’s presence.

God’s saving love is only part of the good news – we must never forget His desire to sanctify us and free us from the power of sin!

The angel’s visit to Zechariah was at the perfect moment. God’s timing is always right, but we must still play our part in preparing for what He has in store for us.

Some people lose confidence in Christ’s return, and begin to live godless lives without any fear of the consequences. But Jesus warns them that when he comes back and finds them living this way, they will sadly regret it.

When Jesus comes again, let’s not be caught napping! Let’s be waiting and ready, clothed in his righteousness and expecting Him.
